Un estudio basado en los datos recogidos por 96.000 páginas webs
durante la primera semana del pasado mes de Julio, desvelan que en
Europa Firefox posee una cuota de penetración del 27,8%, con un aumento
de casi 4 puntos con respecto a los datos de Marzo.
Según los datos del último estudio de XiTi Monitor, uno de cada tres europeas emplea Firefox.
Internet Explorer posee un 66,5% y un 5,7% para Opera y Safari.
En nuestro país "tan solo" 19,1% de los navegantes emplea Firefox.
Destacan las cifras de Finlandia con una cuota de penetración del 45,4%
Le sigue Hungría, que ha pasado del 27,2 de marzo al 39,7% de Julio, con un incremento del un 46%.
Finalmente Irlanda con un 38,6%, "apenas" tenía en marzo un 24,9%.

All European countries saw an increase in Firefox participation with
Hungary showing the most dramatic increase from 27.2%, in the latest
March 2007 survey, to 39.7%. Overall, Europe grew from 24.1% to 27.8%.
I’ve been tracking XiTi results for a long while now and the chart
below shows the market share evolution for the top 8 European countries.
At the global level, all continents show a notable increase with
South America taking the largest growth to reach 15.5% from 11.9% in
the latest report. Oceania keeps the lead at 28.9%.
A recent report by W3Counters showed some similar results at the global level.
